Things you should know
Checking: 3:00 pm – Checkout: 11:00 am.
We thank you for observing our checkout time, it allows us the time to clean and prepare for the incoming guests.
Drinking water is available in the large bottle in the kitchen.
Please do not drink the tap water. Water is precious.
As part of this effort, as long as you feel you can re-use your towels, please hang them up. If not, leave them on the floor and the staff will change them. Bed sheets will be changed 2 days per week.

Housekeeping – Service is two weeks per week. Your housekeeper is Consuelo and it is not part of her duties to wash your dishes. You may make an arrangement with her for an additional tip.
Food purifying – You will find a bottle of Microdyn or similar product in the kitchen. To purify fruits and vegetables that are to be consumed without peeling or cooking, soak them with 2 drops of Microdyn per liter of the purified water supplied. Fruit and vegetables that are to be peeled and/or cooked do not require this treatment.
Security – Although we are generally without security problems, we do suggest that you exercise normal precautions. Don’t take all your cash, cards, passport etc with you to the beach. Main door has a code so you don’t struggle with a key, the code will be given once you arrive.
Plumbing – As the signs say in the bathroom, please don’t put any paper in the toilet. It can cause blockage that may take time to fix. This is by the way a good rule of thumb anywhere in Mexico. Please report any problem.
Tipping – It is customary in Mexico to tip waiters and housekeeping staff. Waiters normally receive 15%-20% and we suggest you tip our housekeeper Ari $75 pesos per day, per room. They also contributes greatly to the comfort of your stay and does not receive any portion of the housekeeping tips so please feel free to give him a little something.
Pets – No pets will be permitted.
Kids – We are sorry to say no kids are allowed, there are some areas are not safe for kids.
Keys – Please be sure to leave your keys. If no staff person is available, just leave your keys on the dining room table in the house and leave the door locked.
